Scott Munro is the founder and a Managing Director at Pagemill Partners. He co-manages the Software Practice with more than 25 years of experience in the technology field and has built a foundation of operational knowledge working with companies in the Internet, software, media and services industries.

Prior to founding Pagemill Partners, Scott served as the chairman and CEO of Savoir Technology Group, Inc., where he grew the business through acquisition from $50 million in revenues to more than $1 billion. Under his leadership, the company became IBM’s largest customer in the world for mid-range computers. While there he completed 13 acquisitions with hardware, software and services companies.

Scott has completed over 25 transactions in the last three year period including two sales to IBM (DataMirror and Net Integration), one to Microsoft ( AdECN), one to Sun Micro (Tarantella), and one to IAC (Bloglines). While his primary focus has been sell side transactions he has also completed multiple financings and buy side transactions.

Scott graduated Magna Cum Laude from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, with a bachelor’s degree in commerce and holds a graduate degree in accounting from McGill University.
