Patrick Manion is a managing director at Pagemill Partners, a Division of Duff & Phelps Securities, LLC. He has more than a decade of experience advising technology companies on mergers and acquisitions and growth capital private placements.

His experience spans technology segments, including enterprise software, internet & media, mobile applications, and tech-enabled services. Patrick has executed dozens of closed transactions including the sale of businesses to large strategic acquirers such as IBM, IHS, Informatica, Intel, Microsoft, OpenText, Oracle,, SAP, and Teradata. Patrick has also executed numerous transactions with leading technology-focused private equity funds such as Accel-KKR, Carlyle, Lake Capital, Platinum Equity, and Vista Equity Partners. In addition, Patrick has executed numerous buy-side engagements advising category-leading companies such as Nuance in strategic purchases of technology companies.

Prior to Pagemill, Patrick was a senior associate for Standard & Poor’s corporate value consulting group where he performed valuations for technology companies ranging from emerging, privately-held businesses to Fortune 500 corporations.

Patrick earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan Business School and has Series 7, 63 and 79 securities licenses.
